I think it was really fun and a worthwhile experience. I'm definitely not saying that it's bad, far from it. The stages for these boss fights are also uniquely tailored tSo this is basically my thoughts on P5S and the way I feel people who are anticipating it's English release are treating it.TL DR: P5S is a fun spin-off that's worth the time and investment but it is definitely NOT "Persona 5-2" nor should it be treated as such.So after spending a lot of time with the game, I came to the conclusion that people are setting themselves up for disappointment when it comes to this game. The main bosses especially - every one of their gimmicks felt fair to fight as there was always counterplay to it, especially after you figure out all the moves they use and how they work. The mini-bosses and main bosses were great, and in my opinion, were much more creative and fun to fight than the ones in vanilla/royal (that's maybe because I prefer action games to turn based ones to begin with though, so take that with a grain of salt). Persona 5 Scramble English Patch Full Blown Sequels

The calendar is completely static and serves no actual purpose gameplay wise. This is because, in every other way besides plot, they're completely different from mainline Persona and Scramble is no different. Most of the things carried over from the mainline games to P5S are either dumbed down considerably (Fusion and basically all of the velvet room) or have no reason to be there, in the case of the calendar. All 3 of them are follow-ups to the story of Persona 4, but nobody would ever call them "full blown sequels" or P4-2, 3, 4, etc. I mean, look at the P4 Arena games as well as P4D.

I just believe that if you're going into this game expecting the "full fledged sequel" that so many people are trying to make it out to be, you're gonna come out disappointed. I still think it's a lot of fun and I'm not trying to bash the game in any way. It's just that the elements that make it "Persona" aren't felt as much as they might seem. And I don't mean that in a bad way. You can come and go from the jails and no time will actually progress until you hit the specific story point the game decides is when to move on.Honestly, this game is way closer to just being "Persona 5 Warriors" than I think people want it to be.
